Quality inspection and export support

Inspection is the last chance to find out that a shipment is not what you ordered, so it is worth doing properly. Export documentation is the last chance to find out that a shipment cannot clear — and that one usually depends on facts you, not we, are in a position to check.

What we do and do not guarantee

What this service does not do

We assist with export documentation and shipping coordination. We do not guarantee that your goods will be approved for import in your country. That decision belongs to your regulator, is made on facts we cannot see, and applies to a product neither of us manufactured. What we commit to is that our documentation is correct and internally consistent, and that we tell you plainly when we have reason to think a product will be difficult in your market.

The same applies to certification: documentation is confirmed per model and per destination market. We do not claim products are certified worldwide, and a report that covers one model is not evidence for a different one.

How inspection works

  1. Step 1:Scope agreed before productionWhat will be checked, how many units, and to what standard — agreed while the order is still confirmable.
  2. Step 2:Inspection at a stated pointPre-shipment inspection, or an inspection at whatever point you need: during production, pre-shipment, or at your destination.
  3. Step 3:Findings reported to youYou get the result whatever it is. An inspection that only reports good news is not an inspection.
  4. Step 4:You decide what happensThe remedy is yours to choose under the contract terms. We do not ship past an unresolved finding without your instruction.

What gets checked

The scope is agreed before production starts, because changing it afterwards is what turns an inspection into an argument.

  • Specification conformityCapacity, dimensions, weight, connector, materials — against the written specification, not against a marketing description.
  • FunctionDoes the unit work. For anything with a cell, that includes a basic charge and discharge check, not just a power-on.
  • Cosmetic defectsScratches, seams, mould marks, print quality — graded against a standard you have seen and agreed to in advance.
  • Packaging and labellingCorrect artwork, correct barcode, correct manual, and packaging that survives transit rather than arriving intact by luck.
  • Quantity and packingCarton counts, and the label that tells customs what is actually inside.

Export documentation

Which of these apply depends on your destination and your product, and telling us at enquiry stage means we can plan for them rather than improvise at the shipping date.

  • Commercial invoiceGoods description, quantity, unit value, total, and the terms the order was placed on.
  • Packing listCartons, units per carton, gross and net weight, and dimensions — the numbers customs needs.
  • Bill of lading or air waybillIssued by the carrier, and we cooperate with the forwarder on the details that affect it.
  • Certificate of originWhere your market requires one. Say so at enquiry stage, because obtaining it can affect routing.
  • Product reports and labellingOnly what exists for the specific model and destination market. See the boundary note below.

Questions about inspection and export

Age and destination

Vaporizer products are intended for adults of legal age in the market where they are sold, and we do not ship into a restricted destination. Age thresholds, capacity limits and labelling rules differ by market, which is a large part of why import approval is yours to confirm rather than ours to promise.

Send your product, quantity, destination market and any customisation requirements. We review the details and reply within one business day.

  • Silavis supplies products to business customers. We do not sell to consumers and this site is not a retail store.
  • Products are selected from manufacturing partners. We are a trading and sourcing company, not a manufacturer.
  • Compliance documents are confirmed per model and per destination market. Buyers are responsible for verifying local import, registration, labelling and sales requirements.
